4. Youth Empowerment and Vocational Skills Development

At God’s Precious One’s Foundation Centre, we recognize that empowering young people with practical skills is essential for breaking the cycle of poverty and dependency. Many youths in our communities, especially school dropouts and vulnerable young adults, lack access to employment opportunities and vocational training. As a result, they often struggle to support themselves and their families.

To address this challenge, our foundation is committed to equipping young people with practical vocational and life skills that enable them to become self-reliant, productive, and confident members of society. Through our Youth Empowerment and Vocational Skills Development Program, we provide hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance that prepares participants for entrepreneurship and employment.

Our vocational training focuses on income-generating skills that are affordable to start and sustainable within local communities. These include:
• Bar Soap Making: Participants learn the process of producing quality bar soap for home use and commercial sale, enabling them to supply local markets and households.
•Liquid Soap Production: Trainees gain skills in producing liquid detergents used for cleaning, washing, and sanitation, which are in high demand in homes, schools, and businesses.
• Tailoring and Sewing: Youth are trained in sewing techniques, garment making, clothing repair, and basic fashion design, allowing them to work independently or establish small tailoring businesses.

Through this initiative, God’s Precious One’s Foundation Centre aims to transform lives by helping vulnerable youth develop dignity, confidence, and the ability to generate sustainable income. By empowering young people with practical skills, we contribute to stronger families, reduced unemployment, and healthier communities.
